Holding an MSc. in Fire Engineering, Gillian is a Senior Fire Engineer at Fire Safety First and provides innovative consultancy services to high profile clients including Ministry of Defence, leading prestigious projects such as the G8 Summit.

I undertake type 1 – 4 assessments for Southern Housing Group who provide over 27,000 homes for over 72,000 people. This includes extra care; sheltered accommodation; supported living; purpose built high and low rise flats; buildings converted to flats; HMO’s’ offices; commercial and community centres.

George has worked in the fire safety industry for over forty years. Initially in construction, working from plan drawings including the installation and maintenance of wet and dry rising mains. He later served for thirty years in a metropolitan fire brigade where for the last ten years he specialised in fire safety management and enforcement, which included reviewing fire risk assessments on a weekly basis.
