UltraGuard Portable Misting System Prevents House Fire in Long Eaton

UltraGuard the personal protection system from Surefire activated in a property on Milton Street, Long Eaton, protecting the two occupants and preventing a potentially serious fire from developing. On Monday the 5 April at 02:02 hours, the PMS that had been fitted to protect the occupants of the Long Eaton property, activated extinguishing a fire that was caused by a discarded cigarette.

Protecting Blackburn Meadows Biomass Power Station

E.ON’s Blackburn Meadows power station uses waste wood from the surrounding area to generate electricity and heat. The site powers up to 40,000 homes in the surrounding area. Since opening in 2014, the biomass power station has won several design awards. e-onThe site required further heavy parts storage and was granted planning permission to build a new warehouse on the site, A swift response from Surefire, who support E.ON with fire protection installation and maintenance services throughout the UK, meant that a fire alarm system was designed following an initial site survey.
